Claim it will not be a factor in November because it's coming out now instead of a month or two before the election.

Hello, morons. DVD coming out in September. Massive amounts of voters will see it then. Many times the amount that will make it to the theater.

One movie ticket at 8-10 bucks gets one set of eyeballs.
One rental at 5 bucks gets a room full of eyeballs.

Idiots.

7. here...
(Those who want to avoid the lines at the multiplex this weekend will have to wait until September. That's when Moore is planning to release the DVD, complete with extra footage and director's commentary. Moore says he wants the film out on home video in time to thwart President Bush's reelection bid.)

2. Well they're kind of right
The line I heard is that an undecided who sees it now will have lost the initial fire by November, and I don't necessarily disagree. But I still don't think that someone who sees this movie could vote for Bush in November, even if they don't still have the indignation that they had leaving the theatre.

3. When it gets on DVD is when
the freepers will rent it to see what it was all about. That's when some will change their minds. It will be closer to the election too.

right on! because renting the dvd is more "private"
than going to the jampackedfull theatres all over the country! some likely dont want to be seen in quite that public a forum but i think the curiousity factor is there for a certain amount of those on the right. and they are among those who may rent the dvd when it comes out much closer to the election

get out the vote
support aclu or bbv or other groups ensuring accurate voting
support dfa or moveon or involver.org and those working on local elections

and thank you michael moore!

11. Renting it on DVD will allow them to keep it in the brown paper sacks
with their porn magazines and movies. They may hold the "moral" high ground in public, but in private many often enjoy sinful distractions. Ask Jack Ryan.

The hypocrits.

If they don't vote after viewing the film that will be enough for me.

6. The movie might not be on the tip of everyone's tongue
but the firestorm it creates very well could be.

have been no need for Fahrenheit 9/11!

10. No kidding. I see why Katie Couric was in such a snit with MM when
she interviewed him. Navy Seals Rock! What a pin head!
I guess that was one of the cogent comments she was talking about.
That one shot summed up the enfotainment element of the run up to this war. Navy Seals Rock. She is such a doofus.
