The Most Hated Man On Earth? (add to this list please)
first, many many thanks for all of you who contributed to my LINKS thread last week. when I have it all formatted, I will repost to see if anything really important was overlooked.

now, I'm putting together a RANT to insert in one of the original songs for The Question W Revue. The song is "The Most Hated Man On Earth" and I want to rant to list as many of the reasons WHY the insipid chimp actually IS the most hated individual in the history of the mankind...

so...

Iraq Invasion/Occupation
abandonment of Afghanistan
withdrawal from Kyoto accords
suspension of Geneva Conventions
refusal to join ICC
refusal to fund AIDS initiatives for Africa
the Sudan crisis
provoking Islamic fundamentalist terrorism worldwide with bogus "war on terra"

what am I missing?

THANKS!

8. Right, along with closing the office for womens' affiars
in the White House.

Underfunding "No Child Left Behind"

Underfunding Veteran healthcare, and slashing that next year.

Fattening Halliburton's coffers while failing to supply soldiers with personal armor.

Saying that sending jobs offshore and throwing Americans out of work is a good thing for the economy.

Accelerating the pace of fattening the rich and robbing the working public.

Edited on Sun Jun-27-04 04:58 PM by neoteric lefty
is that your argument? I agree that he is by far the most hated head of state (democratic state) currently, but in all of history, I really don't know about that. There are some heavy-weights that I don't think George can overcome in that respect. But maybe it is an artistic portrayl, I am not sure.

21. I don't write Chinese ...

It's impossible to write it "correctly" without writing it in Chinese.

I was just throwing out alternatives. Mao was a nutcase who eventually delivered China into a brutal system of social chaos and doublethink.

28. Dashed the American Dream for millions.
Now I don't know if that is domestic or international or both, but what he has done to the reputation of the U.S. has not only tainted our reputation with international leaders, but those who had the dream of escaping there dictatorship or other restrictive form of government now question if the American dream still is available.

Destroying the promise that is the United States.

until I read elf's post below. When I read Elf's post my heart ached and I couldn't stop crying. All that I love about this country and all that others have hoped to find here are being destroyed by the evil weed boy. I am hauted by elf's words and as much as I want to save this country for myself, I want to save it for generations in the future. The American dream must not die!

31. Exploited a National Tragedy / Betrayed the Public Trust
In the wake of 9/11 Bush exploited the patriotism, anger, grief and fear of the American people and lied to us in matters of war in order to implement an imperialist foreign policy and enrich his corporate cronies.

Anyway, this is principally why I hate and revile him.

32. He negates all that we know is true...
Edited on Sun Jun-27-04 09:06 PM by Spazito
we ARE a global village, we need to work together and yet he sends the message that no country other than the US counts, no other country has anything to offer unless they are doing the bidding of the US. It is the "you are for us or against us" posture which sends the message "WE are the world".

The other thing that bush does, amongst many, is that he and his administration are so blatantly hypocritical and two-faced. If it is a "friendly" doing unspeakable things, they are not mentioned but if a perceived "enemy" doing the exact thing, that "enemy" is excoriated.

Edited to correct grammar, damn glass of wine, it is all it's fault, oh, guess I am channeling the right wing, blame it on anyone or anything other than ones self.)
