Will F911 get a "Best Picture" nomination ?????

We already know it will win for best documentary. Will it get a nomination for the "big dog". BEST PICTURE??????

1. Hmmm... it might depend on who's in office!

The Oscar Nominations are announced in mid-February... if Kerry's in the White House, maybe they'll feel more "comfortable" nominating "Fahrenheit 9/11" for Best Picture. :D

2. I was thinking this today too

It would be an amazingly courageous move by the academy to consider Moore for best picture given the extreme political content contained within F911. I hope that they do.

I actually think BFC was a better movie.

F911 will doubtless be nominated for Best Documentary, but don't assume it will win. Probably, but not necessarily.

I think a Best Picture nom is highly unlikely.

Life Is Beautiful was nominated for Best Foreign Film AND Best Picture.
It won Best Foreign..not Best Pic.

I believe F9-11 could cross over to be nominated but I am not 100 percent sure on that.
