Tell us your F911 - Freeper protest story...
I know many of you got to see the movie in peace without any disruption, but I am sure some of you guys have a few good stories. I was out of town (in Tallahassee) and saw the movie there. There were two anti-F911 protesters (signs: Hezbollah terrorists supports F911) and three pro-F911 "protesters" at the cinema. They were out on the street corner away from the theater. Two uniformed Florida Highway Patrol officers were at the front door of the dinky cinema, so I guess they weren't letting the protesters near the theater. About 5 mins after we got our tickets and got in line for the showing, the skies suddenly opened up and it began to pour. I am by no means a religious person, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a sign from up above to those protesters saying, "Shut the hell up! They are trying to enjoy a good movie." :) Maybe not.

1. LOL
And the Lord spoke unto them, proclaiming to all Freepers: "Sit down and grab a popcorn. You might learn something." :D:D:D

3. Hezbollah... terrorists?
I'm no fan of Hezbollah, but they aren't terrorists -- they don't target civilian noncombatants.

8. If you liked "Fahrenheit 9/11", here's something for you to DU

Go straight over to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361596/ , rate the film, and maybe even write a review for IMDB. Post on their message boards, too. Right now, there are a bunch of ignorant trolls holding court there who richly deserve refutation.

9. No protests, but after the movie at dinner
we had a freeper run in. I posted this Saturday night after the movie, but will again. After F9/11 (Where there were NO protests at all and a sold out house for three screens in Atlanta), we went to our favorite Italian restaurant for Saturday night trivia (out here in the republican surburban hinterland where we live). I had on my Kerry shirt and my husband had on his Kerry baseball cap. This guy (with his wife, kids, and another couple) shouts over at me, "Hey, we'll beat them - how smart can they be they support Kerry!" Throughout the night, every time my husband would walk by them to turn in our answer, this guy would laugh, make fun of us, etc. (Elementary school childishness). Also, one of the waitresses came out saw us, and told the manager, "I'm not waiting that table!" (the manager waited our table). Well, we kicked their butts. We won the grand prize. Guy that came in 2nd place was an old hippie who announced on a question about Woodstock that he had been there. He smiled at us when they announced the winners. Oh, yeah, nearly forgot - the Bushidiot called his team "Bush Will Win." His team came in third. He had a couple of other snarky replies as he went to the car. We said nothing - no need to!

10. Is that waitress still employed???
I can't imagine a manager letting someone get away with refusing to serve a customer for their politics. Sheesh. :eyes:

Glad you beat the idiots.

11. I'm sure she is. That's very typical down here where I live
Although, she wasn't waiting any tables for the rest of the night that night. Guess she'd rather do without tips than wait on Kerry supporters.

12. In Bush country I thought the freepers would be out to protect
their boy king. But quite contrary to the fact.

Fahrenheit 911 is showing in Odessa Texas just a few miles from junior's and Laura Bush's home town of Midland Texas. It is drawing well according to the theater folks.

The day I saw it, the crowd was indeed sober and mostly all let their feelings be known how they felt about junior and his crime cabal during the playing of the documentary.

The worm has turned!
