"Walking On Air" Song in F 9/11?
What's the song featured in F 9/11 that has "walking on air" in the lyrics. It was played during the segment on Bush's massive post-9/11 popularity (it would be about a 1/3 of the way into the film, since said popularity has since plummeted!). Any clue on the song?

Believe It Or Not
(Theme From Greatest American Hero)
Joey Scarbury

Look at what's happened to me
I can't believe it myself
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world
It should've been somebody else

Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be
Believe it or not it's just me

Just like the light of a new day
It hit me from out of the blue
Breaking me out of the spell I was in
Making all of my wishes come true

Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be
Believe it or not it's just me

This is too good to be true
Look at me
Fallin' for you

Believe it or not
Believe it or not
Believe it or not
Believe it or not

Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be
Believe it or not it's just me

Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Who could it be
Believe it or not it's just me

Believe it or not I'm walking on air
I never thought I could feel so free
Flying away on a wing and a prayer

8. Best Song Ever For That Scene
Bush was glowing...surrounded by all the men/women in uniform, yucking it up - Mission Accomplished NOT!

10. It was good for the scene but not for the team...
Personally I thought Casey Jones by the Grateful Dead would be more appropriate as the background after Bush's speeches.

Driving that train..
High on Cocaine..
Casey Jones you better watch your speed....
Trouble ahead..
Trouble behind..
And you know, that notion just crossed my mind.

By the way I get a chuckle from Kerry's Chuck Berry song too.

15. Did anyone else
catch the opening lick to Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" when Moore was showing the documents regarding Bush's Air Force suspension?

The viewers between 35-50 will get it, everyone else will wonder about it. Very, very subtle.

18. Caught the "Cocaine" lick
It got a big laugh, up in Classic Rock Reno. A good share of the audience stuck around to rock out to Neil Young over the closing credits as well.

21. I think the entire audience got the joke , at least at "my" theater
And that was after all, the most likely reason why Junior and his buddy Mr Bath skipped out on their TNG physical, and were both grounded as a result.

11. It was all over the airwaves in '81
One of those songs that got played so much you'd cringe whenever it came on.

Damn you, Michael Moore, for making me enjoy hearing it again!!!!

12. It was the theme to the early 80s ABC show "Greatest American Hero"...
about a milquetoast high school teacher who stumbles across an alien suit that gives him super powers. He loses the instruction manual to the suit in the first episode, so he's never sure exactly what super powers will manifest when he wears the suit. Much hilarity ensues. Connie Selleca stands around looking hot. So now you know.

13. I vaguely remember the show
What I most remember is the lead character's last name was originally Hinckley, but it was changed after John Hinckley tried to kill the Gipper.

14. Yeah I Think The Actor In It Was The Real Life Son Of...
Barbara Hale of Perry Mason fame?

And also I remember the singer of the song was this guy who lost like 100 pounds on Weight Watchers or something....and then quit his day job at Sears to become Rich And Famous.

Major one hit wonder!! This was late 70s, early 80s.

Affix tin-foil beannies or deflector whatevers. Take no chances.

Maybe it was "Hannity"? Nah, that would be from one psychotic to another.

20. George Costanza used it on his Answering Machine on Seinfeld.
George's message was him singing:

"Believe it or not George isn't at home

Please leave a message at the beep

I must be out or I'd pick up the phone

Where could I be

Believe it or not I'm not home... beep"

I just about died laughing when I saw that episode.

24. Especially since George shrugs when "Where could I be" comes on
He's sitting next to his phone listening to the "clever" message, singing along. One of the greatest moments in Seinfeld's run.
