What do you think Bush said?
"Stealing a glance at his watch to make sure the transfer had occurred, Bush put his hand over his mouth to guard his remarks, leaned toward Blair and then reached out to shake hands. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, a row behind the president, beamed. "

Do you think he was hiding his comments from the media?

1. "Everything that happens from here on out is not our fault."
"Now, what's the number for Diebold?"

2. What a circus. I think that * is trying to get rid of the hot potato, at
least for appearances sake. This way the carnage to come will be blamed on Iraqis.

This comment is very telling:
Iraqis are happy inside, but their happiness is marred by fear and melancholy," said artist Qassim al-Sabti. "Of course I feel I'm still occupied. You can't find anywhere in the world people who would accept occupation. America these days, is like death. Nobody can escape from it."

Plus all the edicts especially the one about immunity belie the sovereignty claim...

3. I also love how the 14 bases being built...
are being termed "enduring" rather then permanent. Such a transparent play on words!

We aren't going anywhere.
