From the WP's White House Briefing blog (again):

(snip)(links added)
Bridget Byrne (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A10772-2004Jun27.html) writes in The Washington Post: "Bush-Cheney campaign spokesman Scott Stanzel had no comment on the box office numbers, but suggested that those wanting another view visit www.GeorgeWBush.com and see a compilation of clips titled 'Kerry Coalition of the Wild-Eyed.' In general, the campaign has said it did not want to take on Moore because it would lend him credibility."
(snip)

That makes sense. Good tactic, Scott.

1. The t-shirt
Someone here has a link to a "Coalition of the Wild-Eyed" t-shirt that features the face of a big cat looking wild-eyed. I struck me this morning that a bald eagle can look pretty wild-eyed, too. I'd love to see a "Coalition of the Wild-Eyed" shirt with a bald eagle on it.

2. I sent moveon.org an email suggesting that a website be
made of the coalition of the Wild-Eyed. For various American to send in their pic with eyes wide opened and state why they won't be voting for Bush in the fall. That slogan is one of the dumbest to date.

3. Instead...
they are getting the media to ignore the story in favor of the Iraq government hand over.

Smart move on their part. Move the transition up two days so they can get F911 out of the news.

4. As usual, more Orwellian empty twisted language from Psychomanipulators
of the Bushevik Imperial Tyranny.

Fuck them and their word games. They reached a high-water mark in people's gullibility to their lies.

From this day forward, fewere and fewer will be defenseless aginst it. More and more KNOW of the Rise of Bushevik Nazi-Style Propaganda.

And, as any 1st Year Psychomanipulator could tell you, an unwary victim is MUCH easier to fool.

Well, fewer and fewer are unwary.

We're telling them all the truth...one erson at a time.

And that is something the Bushevik Lie Machine cannot duplicate withtheir fabricated Goebbels methodology.

5. That is an awesome commercial for the Dems though
it shows them impassioned and involved, meanwhile it makes Bush look removed and out of touch.

6. I just went to see the ad and
they have changed it since I saw it a couple of days ago. The first time there was a picture of Hitler on one side of the screen and Bush on the other with their arm raised. It's no longer in there.

7. Just checked out the latest version of "Wild-eyed"
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 02:47 PM by rocknation
It accuses Gore and Soros of comparing Bush to Hitler. But the audio for the rest of the commercial is unchanged. If there's audio or a credible transcript that would back up these accusation, WHY WEREN'T THEY ADDED? Oh, and by the way, Georgie, why aren't you willing to say that you approve of the message?

8. "Wild-Eyed" label will not stick.
The clips on the ShrubDickie website make the Dems look strong and comitted, IMO. By contrast, Shrub looks weak and wimpy. This one will backfire on them.
