Since the "occupation" is now over, does the death toll
go back down to 0?

Will the new American deaths over there be in another category now? American deaths in Sovereign Iraq?

It sounds like something they would do.

1. Great Idea!!
We should fax this to CNN. "Now only 20 American soldiers killed since liberation. All is going well"

3. Didn't they start the count over after May 1st last year?
How many troops actually died during the invasion?

It just occurred to me that they might try this. I just got done reading "Bush's Brain" about Karl Rove. This sounds like something that he might try to do.

5. Matt Maupin (POW) was just executed...I guess he's #1 on the new list...
Thanks, FratBoy and Uncle Dick...another needless death to add to your totals.

6. I believe you have figured it out. And that doesn;t even include
the purposefully suppressed casulayt figures. I'm guessing we've actually lost 1,200 or 1,300 soldiers, minimum.

I hope that if they try to do this, that there will be a public out cry.

I just can't put anything past these idiots anymore.

8. Help me understand this...new Iraq sovereignty means...
war is over and all prisoners of war must be set free. The US must let the prisoners in Guantanamo go free. I guess bushies will not comply. What if the new head of Iraq says that all prisoners of war will be set free, except Saddam. He's in charge (I think!).

I find it funny that there were no street celebrations from the citizens of Iraq. I mean, bush just gave them back their country and freedom. Isn't this the time for the Iraqis to throw flowers, kiss the soldier's feet and name all babies george bush?

I think this is all a bad play....bring the curtain down.
