Iraqi turnover accelerated to overshadow F9/11?
(please excuse if dupe)

F9/11 breaks all sorts of box office records over the weekend and today we find out that the much hyped and planned turn over of Iraqi "sovereignty" is pushed up 2 days...coincidence? I think not...

1. I thought the same thing....
Don't know if this theory has been posited on here or not already, but I haven't seen it if it has.

3. They can run, but they can not hide!
....Ambassador Brennan turns over the paper to the Iraqis and makes a high speed escape out of the country. Meanwhile, all our American troops stay behind and more are sent to expose them to greater danger.
Michael Moore's next documentary needs to be "The Fall of the Amerikan Empire". Meanwhile, F9-11 broke box-office receipts for an opening of a documentary at over $23.9 billion and beat all the other openers including the head-banger film "Dodge-ball" which was 5th place. Made a liar out of Drudge.

4. No. I give them credit on this one. It was the right thing to do.
I have no doubt Iraqi insurgents would have attacked any sort of ceremonial handover being planned for 6/30. It was actually smart to accelerate the process and pull one over on the insurgents. Plus, since they kept saying that attacks would increase prior to the handover, perhaps they will decrease now that the 'transfer' is allegedly a done deal. That remains to be seen.

F9/11 is going to be in the news for weeks. The 'handover' won't.
