Including me. There is so much to take in.

Michael Moore should win the Nobel Prize. He is a hero.

It makes me glad that ticket sales did so well, because my hometown theaters didn't get a piece of that money.

25. Good heavens! Where are you?
They're planning on putting it in more theaters, so perhaps one will be within driving distance (or pack mule, or whatever gets you there). Seriously, I thought pure GREED would influence some theater chains, but I guess some companies are approaching this politically.

As for myself, I was half expecting for it to open in only a couple of local theaters, so I was pleasantly surprised when it opened several places. I live in an urban area, but sometimes the distribution decisions mystify me (such as the time they opened "The English Patient" in exactly one local theater).

To very chilling effect, I might add. Moore becomes a better filmmaker with each one he does.

17. I'm seeing it Wednesday.
My wife just got out of the hospital last week (Hip replacement) and she can barely move in her walker.

But she says she wants to see F 9/11 no matter what. So I'll call the theater and make sure she can get special arrangements to get in.

We haven't seen a movie in a theatre for years, but this is so important, we just have to go.

20. Saw it first day, 1:35pm showing in Burbank
Sold out, of course. Extremely supportive audience, the biggest cheers occurred when the Congresswoman (I think it was McKinney) said, "I don't have a Senator and I DON'T CARE!", and when a soldier in Iraq said, "If Donald Rumsfeld was here today, I'd ask for his resignation". But there was applause at many points during the film, and HUGE applause at the end of the film. As I walked out, I saw a big line for the 4:00 showing and every show was sold out until 10pm. I can't wait to see it again!

It was Maxine Waters who said the comment about not having a senator and not caring. Then Gore got GOP applause for saying "the rules do care."

23. Did F9/11 point out that death by beheading is no worse than,
death by any violent means? That includes death from bombs dropped from aircraft. Likewise for death from suicide bombers, which is no worse than death from TANKS. Actually death from beheading is quite human in that it has very little suffering and lingering pain. Of course the threat of death by beheading could be considered just as cruel as death by electrocution or hanging, but no worse.

27. Seeing it with a whole bunch of friends
About half of them are conversative wingnuts, but they at least had the open mind to agree to see the movie. Another quarter of them are fencesitters who generally have a negative opinion of Bush, but nothing too strong, and the rest are liberals like me (but I am the leftest of all).

I'm looking forward to some good conversions :bounce:

28. I live outside the country....but
happened to be in Florida last week...saw it on my
last day...flew out that same night. Glad I did because
I'd be listening to everyone talk about it and wish I had.

The part that got me was the part where the Black House
members kept coming up to object...and because of no
Senator having the nuts to support them...Gore couldn't
accept them. I didn't know that happened! I felt angry.

32. I'm in a Bible Belt town and F-911 is being shown in one theatre
and from what I hear, it's sold out. I drove for an hour and saw it in friendlier territory – Asheville, NC. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes. Every show has been sold out there, too, and they've added the number of showings, beginning at 11 a.m.

39. I've seen it 3 times already..
I live in Portland...I saw it the first time by myself on friday, again with 7 friends on saturday, and then today with a girlfriend. I've been "moved" each time. Seeing it over again has not affected the impact. Today, I heard an 80 year old woman in the row in front of me call bush a chickensh*t. She was with what looked to be her husband and another elderly couple. I love watching the reactions of the people watching.

46. My dad just called
he and his girlfriend saw it at a 1:30 pm show today, in a mostly full theater in Ohio (said the following showing was sold out). He LOVED IT! Called it a masterpiece and said that he just loves Michael Moore now (wasn't a fan before). He said that he thinks Moore is a great and very brave American Patriot. His girlfriend also thought the film was fantastic, and will try to get her RW daughter in law to see it. Kudos again to MM!

53. Yes, Sunday night
More than 200 miles round trip. It was very much worth it.

We got there for the last showing at 10:30pm. The theater was more than half full.

I don't know if its just me getting older but it seemed like the crowd was awfully young. I saw a few get turned away at the door after a through ID checking.

54. I'm seeing it Wednesday night, as part of a fund-raiser for DFA
Democracy For America (Howard Dean's outfit)
www.democracyforamerica.com

$40 admission gets me a seat for the film showing, then catered drinks and munchies afterward.

Costs a bundle, but it's well worth it for me - I'm helping out 2 causes!
