1. great list
all of them really evoked something deep (and different) in me.

I have to tell you, the Iraqi grandmom really did me in - when she asked "why did they do this to us?" over and over, I just crumpled. I felt so ashamed. I wanted to reach thru the screen and hang on to her.

4. That, and Lila collapsing in front of the White House, were the two
most difficult scenes for me (teared up). Followed closely by Lila reading her son's last letter, and the Iraqi man loading the blown up baby onto the meat wagon and shouting at the cameraman.

9. That guy, and his name, actually made the news back when he

originally said this...

(on edit) I remember reading this, and that it was an enlisted guy who did NOT say this anonymously, and thought, "that guy has some balls." And my next thought was that things must be pretty fubar for people to be openly saying things like this.

12. I saw the movie on Saturday...
and on Sunday there was an article how Peace Fresno has gotten an attorney to file charges against the cops.

But I thought the movie was full of lies! How strange.... </sarcasm>
