Senate Resolution to Affirm DOMA
Is anyone else worried about this?

I'll tell you what makes me nervous

Number One:

snip -
Whereas, families consisting of the legal union of one man and one woman for the purpose of bearing and raising children remains the basic unit of our civil society;
end snip

Does this mean that if a man and a woman want to get married and announce they do not intend to have children (or one or both of them are known to be infertile) the govt can deny them a marriage license?

Number Two:
snip -
(B) neither the United States Constitution nor any Federal law shall be construed to require that marital status or legal incidents thereof be conferred upon unmarried couples or groups;
end snip

Couldn't this also be used to do away with or ban civil unions? I refer to the "legal incidents thereof"

This really scares me!

1. Let them do what they want.
None of us is prepared or able to fight back.

Assimilate or die. That is what we have left.

I think they know peak oil is nigh...
