People Acting Childlike Because Of Moore's Documentary
I posted this at my favorite battleground forum. I believe this rant has been one of my better ones:

It's really weird to see some people here actually talking about the man with very little substance to back their claims. I read news from around the world and then come here to see if people are receiving scraps of the real news from unbiased foreign sources. I will admit however, bush is heavily disliked not only here in the states, however Worldwide.

Those that dislike Moore and try to discredit his work are those that he challenges. He challenges the lier's to confront him, yet they don't. Instead they come to discussion forums to post in hopes of redirecting people's attention from his movie and Bush's failing policies.

The real damage is being done here against Freedom of Speech, Equal Rights, Social Security, Welfare, Free Health care and our Unity as a nation. Divide and Conquer... this has been Bush's tactic. It fails because his arrogance and detrimental position on the lower classes has forced the people to organize and fight him. It is only a normal reaction for a country to force a Leader to step down when the citizens believe he or she is a danger.

George Bush represents only part of the problem this country faces, however at this moment in time, he has become a cancer in the Heartland of America. Like the Great Nation America has always strived to be, it shall neutralize then destroy it's own illness. We have seen this many times before, especially during the CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT. It still exists.

In fact the Civil Rights Movement never really ceased to challenge the 'powers to be'. Only now, we are witnessing a final attempt by the 'Right' to destroy it, by weakening the government's role to regulate companies and protect consumers.

Watch a commercial, then watch Bush speak. Always in very very short sentences. A marketing skill, short and to the point. Watch him... he's good at fooling the poor and middle class in the country into believing he is a regular guy, even though he came from a War Profiteering family that is essentially loaded beyond belief. Corrupt.

In contrast you have a regular Blue-collar guy that exposes those 'powers to be' to the people because the mainstream media has been politically leaning 'Right' for the last 15 years. The very folks who were protected by Freedom of Speech are now dictating and trying to rewrite the Constitution.

Finally, the 'Right' will never be given their little window of opportunity again, and they know this. It's either now or not for a very long time. In fact, if Bush loses, you will see heads role, and monopolies of any sort, especially in the media, will be forced to break up.

America has changed permanently, I just hope the CIVIL WAR will finally come to an end. That never ended either...

1. Bravo!
Well said! Wish posters on the boards I frequent were as eloquent. All they want to do is call each other names. Hard to find a board where people are willing to discuss things in a reasoned, thought out way.

4. so true.... they refuse to debate the issues he raises.
Come to think of it...all issues are handled this way by repugs...propaganda and secrecy has bankrupt our country.
