Oregon is a contested state? I think the gay marriage issue could
not have come at a worse time. I am sorry that it is even an issue (this should be a right for everybody), but if they put this on the November ballot (as said in WashJnl this morning, Chuck Todd) in Oregon it is thought it will help Bush especially in eastern oregon.

3. I lived in Portland for a year...........
and I must say it is the most wondrous place I've ever been (and I miss it terribly), but if you go five miles out of town in any direction things change quickly to (R)ed.
