Bush has problems- starting with Veterans. Check this:
Gene Collier (Pitt. Post-Gazette) nails "Flight suit in-chief", re: Veterans problems w/Bush. Snip of what Collier writes:

"In our current totalitarian state, you can't even find out what gets said when the vice president meets with his industry buddies to formulate energy policy.

For the poor and the powerless, who do most of this administration's dirtiest work, well, they get to sit in a stinking biohazard bunker waiting for a rocket-propelled grenade in Iraq and watch Bush on TV saying, "Bring it on!" I wonder how many of them know how he hid from Vietnam in the Texas National Guard.

It's enough to make you sick."

1. This is the kind of information that makes me wonder if there
is any intelligent life on the freeper side. How can one know that these things are happening and not stop and ask, "Do I need to readjust my thinking here?"

2. There IS hope
The Harrison Daily Times (Harrison AR) wrote an editorial back in the winter about us demonstrators, calling us names and asking that we be "reigned in". The last month or so, I've noticed the editorial cartoons are decidedly anti-Bush. One was making fun of his flight suit, and another was about him keeping 911 information secret. There are quite a few people from this area that are stuck over in the Middle East, with no end in sight, and the folks back home are getting restless and are definately unhappy. The number of pro-Bush bumper stickers has plummeted. I haven't seen a "Veterans for Bush" sticker since March. Maybe people are waking up.
