Oh no! Not another one!
ok, yes this is another fahreheit-related thread, but i've had an exceedingly shitty day, so please indulge me.

now that i have your attention, can we put our brains together and try and speculate as to who told dimson about fahrenheit, who then told him about its successful weekend, and how he responded?

i just keep wondering over and over in my mind, what's going on behind the scenes with him. he looked really UNhappy the other day at the nato meeting sitting beside blair. that would've been the day he heard about it being number #1 for the weekend.

so let's guess: who first told him about it, how'd he react, and how'd he react when he found out about its success?

my bet is, he's demanding to see it -- and calling for moore's assassination ;-)

1. He's too much of an egotist to not
want to see what is shown about him, but on the other hand he probably won't do it for fear of a leak from someone in his loyal administration??? And I thought about the same thing concerning his wanting to obliterate Moore. It wouldn't surprise me.

2. His handlers are no doubt assuring him that he's now more popular
than Reagan, because "Bedtime For Bonzo" never "pulled 'em in like this!"

6. lol!
seriously though, i think he's bound to know he's in trouble... i think that's a big reason he's aging so much and going so crazy lately...

i bet there's a shitload of stuff to come out once HE'S out -- people who work behind the scenes and see everything first hand are probably dying to talk.

10. I think he's regretting the Faustian bargain he made with the neocons...
"Wait a minute...I get to be preznit and all I gotta do is whatever Uncle Dick says?! Hell...where do I sign?" :dunce:

5. I've Wondered
Who, among his staff, would have the ballz to tell him about the success of the movie.

I'm also curious as to why there are few questions as to why F911 would set new records if it wasn't for the fact that the people here are willing to pay for and be entertained by the truth for a change.

8. you think?
see i think he wanted to know first thing how the movie did... stuff like that plays more in his mind that iraq becoming sovereign or meeting with nato leaders...

i think bush is MUCH more of a political monster than we and others give him credit for. i bet he's constantly asking about polls, opponents, and DEFINITELY this movie.

12. You're right, newsguyatl. Rove's been...
giving him blow-by-blow reports from groups collaboratnig with RNC to trash Moore and the movie. President Numbnuts probably blew a gasket Monday morning when Rove told him F911 was the #1 movie over the weekend. Probably told Rove to screw Moore. Bushit, already agitated because he was booed out of Europe, demanded more aggressive attacks. Sleezeball Rove probably assured him more mud will be slung prior to this weekend's movie-viewing. It's going to get uglier, the more successful this film becomes (and ironically, the more slimey Rove gets, the more hype the movie will benefit from). Bring it on!

On a happier, overly optimistic note: I do hope the chimp brain sees F911 for himself. Alone in the darkened theatre, I hope he is shamed by it, and resigns for the sake of the country.

14. Nah. . .
though I agree that he cares about these things deeply. I think those around him wouldn't feed him such dire info during such an illustrious photo op. He might want the info, but we're all too aware by now how he is spoon fed info.

See pre war bogus military so called "intelligence" for further reference.

9. From what I read...
... bearers of bad tidings are quickly put on the white house shit list. I doubt if Bush* has much of a clue about f911.

11. I think the puppet masters can get away with not telling him anything
He said it himself that he doesn't read the papers. My guess is that he also doesn't watch too much of the news, and if he does, the networks have been bending over pretty hard telling him what he would want to hear anyway.

Unless Spongebob starts to discuss the matter, I think he'll be oblivious to the whole thing.

13. not to derail this thread but did you
ever see the Simpson's where Bart had to incessantly write on the blackboard. . .

"Spongebob Squarepants is not a contraceptive aid.". . .?

sorry couldn't resist.
