1. Rather asked "dirty Sanchez" what happens if the US wants to do something
and the Iraqis don't want them too? Answer: we can do whatever we want, essentially.

It's now the Iraqis fault, not ours. I've heard it several times already, the memo has been passed along.

15. It's the back of his head, I think
it's being reflected by the background. I think I saw him on another show not on CNN, so I don't think he's in the Studio like Woodward.

10. Rather: BushCo has convinced the press to cover just the dead in
combat and that is unworthy of a great country like ours. Every one of those more than 800 dead soldiers died serving the US interests. WOW... finally somebody said it.

14. Somebody asking McCain after he was dragged thru the mud by
Bush how he can support Bush?
It is not appropriate for McCain to look back in anger???? It is not expected of a politician... he has a very cordial relationship with Bush....
My conclusion: Bush has the goods on him or he is a boot-licker.

16. It was a disappointing answer.
He's been disappointing in his support of the Chimp, in general.

Bush is probably threatening him in some way AND he's a boot-licker.

18. Saddam said that if Americans believe in free elections, he wants to run
and trusts that he would be re-elected.
No lack of confidence. (Dan Rather)

McCain asked if he would be Bush*'s vicepresident. He said "Dan you are too far away." And said no.

20. Woodward warns America about bush and the cards he may play
bringing home some troops as a ploy for votes . . .

At least he and Rather were not so optimistic about what the chances that poor country has for success . . . they were realistic . . .
