Al Gore Dis Invited to speak at Convention??
Has anyone else heard anything about this? My repug sister called me laughing that Tony Snow said this on his radio show today. She said she didn't hear any sources but he said it a couple of times.

I know he's been strident in his speaking lately, but I can't imagine him not speaking at the convention.

???????

8. I checked the DNC website, but they didn't have the info up yet
There's probably a different site just for the convention, but I haven't looked for it yet.

9. This is good to know because...
damnit, I like Al Gore and I wondered when I read on here that Clinton was speaking if they would have Gore and I was so hoping they would..how rude if they wouldn't and just a little bit scary!

And with all due respect to the poster's sister who was laughing after she heard it from tony snow...well..I'm going to be nice and just say ..you really can't depend on those guys for the truth. Get a clue.

6. If it were true, it would be plastered all over drudge right now
My guess is since the news story about who would be speaking at the conventions didn't specifically include Gore (and pretty much everyone else not named Clinton or Kennedy) then Snow decided it was ok to mislead his listeners into believing that Gore was "dis invited".

7. Cons Lie. Rather than repeating the lies here, check it out.
This way you just look a bit gullible. If there happens to be any evidence, report what you found.

Personally I don't see any reason to do fact-checking for your sister or anyone who believes what FundiCon operatives are saying. My past experience suggests that the odds of finding a nugget of fact in a huge pile of horse shit make the endeavor worse than useless.

10. why only 3 hours TV over 4 days (with 2 hours for acceptance on Thursday
and one hour on Wednesday.

Meanwhile the Bush gets TV time as requested when requested - isn't this a bit of obvious bias against the Dems by the media?

11. Speakers will be finalized after VP pick
This is just a guess, of course but since several of the former presidential candidates are also under consideration for VP, my guess is that they haven't finalized much of anything--at least publicly.
