It's Another Multiple Meltdown Night for O'REILLY
He jumped all over some schnook of a guest about France and CHIRAC and the food-for-oil program, FURIOUS. The guest just sat there in shock.

In an upcoming segment (this is the re-run), he lays into a Dem consultant about "Far Left" Michael MOORE, how (according to O'REILLY) the ONE REASON Wes CLARK lost was that he didn't disavow MOORE's calling Shrub a deserter. He also demands that KERRY NOT appear anywhere together with MOORE.

Then he has David BROOKS on, calling him one of the ONLY TWO (SAFIRE) wingnuts on the NYT op-ed pages. He was frothing that the NYT has done TWELVE stories on Air America, that this is NOT JUSTIFIED based on no-ratings/no-stations/soon-to-be-kaput, whereas the NYT has not done A SINGLE story on HIM, who is THE HIGHEST RATED blowhard on cable! Just frigging UNREAL, he claims.

2. He's Got the TX Repuke Chairwoman about "Christian Nation"
The TX Repuke party passed a resolution for themselves calling for naming this country "a Christian nation". The two of them can't believe why the ADL is upset. She claims "we came from" being founded as "a Christian nation" although later she modifies it as "Judeo-Christian", but "a Christian nation" nonetheless.

3. He Tries to Get BROOKS to Denounce the NYT (his employer)
after saying he wouldn't do that to BROOKS, who was actually very pleasant and kept saying how well he gets along with the rest of the NYTers. The funny part is that BROOKS's new book is about "suburbia" where both he and O'REILLY claim to live. The premise is that good values are being upheld there, like barbecuing and "guys walking into the Home Depot with that MANLY WADDLE." When the camera cuts back to O'REILLY, he has a lovestruck, blissfully dazed look on his face.

5. BROOKS Called Him "Basically an OPINION commentator"
as opposed to O'REILLY always calling himself a journalist, and O'REILLY didn't dispute it.

For being such "an Independent" O'REILLY certainly was lovestruck at having "one of the TWO Conservatives at the NYT" in his presence. He kept going back on his original word not to get BROOKS to badmouth the NYT. Spin spin. Attacked the NYT about having FORTY SEVEN front page stories on the Iraq tortures. BROOKS said it was a "defensible" judgment for the paper.

9. Laying into Hollywood Stars about Michael MOORE
He wanted statements from Hollywood stars "explaining" their take on MM. GERE, Jodie FOSTER, DeVITO refused to provide statements. The only one that did was Yoko ONO, who said she loved MM's love for the country.

13. It's Over, But Now Brit HUME
is claiming that the polls show that Shrub "has survived a rough patch but is now holding his own." This would be on a couple of days where everybody else has been saying the CBS poll shows him at 42%, the lowest ever.

O.K., I've had enough.

20. Not exactly sure, but read this article:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4962832/

“Similarly,” Kohut wrote, “in May 1992 President George H. W. Bush had only a 37 percent approval rating according to a Times Mirror Center survey, but the same poll showed him with a modest lead, 46 percent to 43 percent, over Bill Clinton. Only the Democratic convention and the debates brought about an acceptance of Mr. Clinton.”

Kerry has had very little coverage of his speeches on tv. It was only today that CNN showed an entire speech of his. The public doesn't even know who Kerry is. That will be changing in July/August.
Kerry's done great considering no one really knows who he is!

I'm sure that the NY Times has published at least 12 stories over the past year which discussed Fox News.
