What did Lila Liscomb's T-shirt say in the kitchen interview in F911?
Edited on Wed Jun-30-04 12:31 AM by BurtWorm
She was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering and a design, I believe. I can't quite remember anything but the very top line:

"Mickey Mouse"

Does anyone remember what else was on the shirt?

1. I think it said Disney World...
...with a year on it, like 2002 maybe. We just saw the movie tonight and I wish I could remember. However, the movie had such an impact on my wife and I that I doubt we could have paid much attention to the shirt she was wearing. It was Lila Lipscomb's words and emotions that took center stage.

2. Agreed.
The strange thing is I thought it was a satirical T-shirt of some kind. It didn't occur to me until just now that Disney owned the movie when that interview was shot. If it was just a Disneyworld T-shirt, which would fit her character more, it was probably just incidental. It probably means nothing, in any case. I was just curious if anyone else noticed that.

Welcome to DU, by the way. :toast:

3. I think it said 'Mickey Mouse University.'
I just came back from seeing F911 in a sold out theater in Marin County, CA.

This area is very liberal and everyone was already in the choir. I thought reaction was a bit subdued because everyone around here has known everything presented for a couple of years now.

Moore's name in the opening credits got applause as did the wounded soldier who vowed to leave the Republican party and work hard for the Democrats.
