flashback--THE PRESIDENT: We found the weapons of mass destruction.
Edited on Sun Aug-17-03 11:47 AM by Aidoneus
ran across this earlier and posted this in another thread, but it's such a blatent lie that it deserves a thread of its own.

from May 29, 2003

Q: But, still, those countries who didn't support the Iraqi Freedom operation use the same argument, weapons of mass destruction haven't been found. So what argument will you use now to justify this war?

THE PRESIDENT: We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories. You remember when Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said, Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons. They're illegal. They're against the United Nations resolutions, and we've so far discovered two. And we'll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them.

It goes without saying that this is a big steaming pile of Bushit. The "biological laboratories" were sold to them by the British and produced hydrogen for weather balloons.

2. Amazing isn't it?
This sleazebag also floated the lie that Saddam wouldn't let the UN inspectors do their job, so that's why we invaded....like we all have amnesia and can't remember what was going on 6-8 months ago.

Impeach the bastard and try him for crimes against the Constitution.

4. Impeach the bastard and try him for crimes against the Constitution.
That would be the single most happy experience of my life.

I've been going around for months now feeling as though the entire country has lost its mind. It sometimes feels as though I've got a metal band around my head trying to crush it and not let the thoughts come pouring out. There are days I want to stand on the corner and scream at people like some bible-thumper.
