His latest cinematic lie fest seeks to undermine the authority of the president, and give aid and comfort to our enemies. It's high time the Patriot Act be enforced, so ideological terrorists like Moore can be arrested and locked away. The message needs to be conveyed to liberals that if you criticize the president, you go to prison."

Don't allow them to get away with that kind of bullshit. The best thing to do is send a letter to the editor directly responding to their letter. It's always more than easy enough to demolish their arguments and make them look foolish while maintaining a civil tone.

The important thing to remember is: yes, people like this do exist -- but they are FAR from the majority out there. If you call them on their bluster, you make others who don't exhibit such short-circuited brain activity realize that other people feel just the same as they do, and that we're all disgusted by the far-right reactionaries.

"Metro" is a free paper distributed in various cities. NYC has one as well.
