Stern is a New Yorker who actually lived through a horrific event. He was filled with fear, as much of the country was, and rallied behind a dunce, like many. I credit Stern greatly with keeping his pulse on what was going on and, finally, after a vacation and reading Al Franken's "Liars..." he went on and declared he was against Bush and started explaining why. A few days later, all his troubles started....

For those who like to say he is simply being self-serving, I will point out that Stern went against Bush before he got all this pain from the FCC.

Give the man the credit that is his due, and be glad he is there to spread what is going on. Take a look at his website...

I'm guessing there was no love lost between them, and just about everyone I know who listens to Stern thinks that the show has improved greatly since Jackie left and I'm amazed that *anyone* thinks that Stuttering John lent anything at all to the show in the past ten years. Once people figured out who he was, his one bit ceased to be funny and ever since then all he did was bitch and moan while Stern and the rest of the show continues to put money on his table.
