US soldiers in Iraq asked to pray for Bush
They may be the ones facing danger on the battlefield, but US soldiers in Iraq are being asked to pray for President George W Bush.

Thousands of marines have been given a pamphlet called "A Christian's Duty," a mini prayer book which includes a tear-out section to be mailed to the White House pledging the soldier who sends it in has been praying for Bush.

I am sure thats the first thing that they will pray for. I am amazed.

1. Yeah. Did you also catch that article last year
about the Chaplain who would not let troops have showers, food or water until they were baptized? Just wish I could find the link for that.

Would Jesus love a liberal? You bet!

5. If I were a solider and a chaplain did that to me, I'd point my gun
right in his face and tell him I'm sending him home to his father if he doesn't let my cheney ass in for a shower and food.

3. Are tax dollars being spent on that propaganda? Hasn't Bush
already used our tax dollars illegally to run ads about health care? Why hasn't anyone busted them for that? I'm going to vote against every damn incumbent this time around. No one is doing their job in Washington. I want accountability. Religion and politics do not belong together!

4. Shouldn't Bush be praying for the soldiers?
AS usual, the Repubs have it backwards.

6. Did the fundamentalist wackos ever say one honest prayer for Clinton?
And I'm not talking about a prayer that says, "Oh, pray that he changes his position on abortion", or "Oh, we pray that he will resign". THAT does not count! I'm talking about a real prayer where they pray for him to succeed as president and they pray for the success of his policies.

7. Alternative Prayers for the Troops
"Pray that President Bush gets us the F*** outta here!"
"Pray that President Bush is defeated in November"
"Pray that hearts and minds are changed through F 9/11"
"Use F 9/11 as an instrument of Peace"
"God, move people to see F 9/11"
