Someone on DU has probably already posted this Newsweek review of Farenheit 9/ll:
More Distortions From Michael MooreSome of the main points in ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ really aren’t very fair at all

"In light of the extraordinary box office success of “Fahrenheit 9/11,” and its potential political impact, a rigorous analysis of the film’s assertions seems more than warranted."
If American journalists were as skeptical and thorough in their analysis of Bush's policies as you were about Michael Moore's "Farenheit 9/11" then I would not have bothered to buy a ticket to see the film. But for several years now I've had to go to British, Canadian, Australian and European newspapers for rigorous analysis on the origins of the Iraq War, an examination that is sorely missing in the United States.
Forgive me if I'm less than impressed with your meticulous hair-splitting of a film that could easily have run 20 hours detailing the corruption of the Bush Administration and their collusion with the military/industrial/government complex that propels our foreign policy and destroys the lives of our citizenry. I'll forgive Moore his few factual errors and distortions given that he at least showed up for this particular fight, unlike the vast majority of the fourth estate.
