Wow, my senator did something right, for a change.
Dear MoveOn member in Nebraska,

Your Senator, Ben Nelson, took an important step in the right
direction yesterday by voting against the nomination of Victor
Wolski to a key federal court.

This is big, because until now Nelson has generally not taken a
strong stand against President Bush's most extreme, right-wing
judicial nominees, while most other Democrats have.

Your support for MoveOn may have helped bring about this change.
Yesterday, we ran an ad* in the Washington Post, thanking the
Senators who have opposed other extremist nominees. We excluded
Nelson from our thanks, because he hadn't done the right thing
on this issue -- yet.

Is it a coincidence that he voted the right way yesterday?

If you have a moment, please give Senator Nelson a call at:

Senator Ben Nelson (D)
Washington: 202-224-6551
Lincoln: 402-441-4600
Omaha: 402-391-3411
Chadron: 308-260-2278
McCook: 308-340-1264
Scottsbluff: 308-631-7614

Be sure his staff members know you're a constituent. Then thank him
for standing with other Democrats against the nomination of Victor
Wolski. Urge him to keep it up and oppose other far-right judicial
nominees in future votes too.

Please let us know you're making this important call, at:

Thank you!

Sincerely,
