If Not Bush - Who?...If Not Now - When?
Edited on Thu Jul-10-03 04:28 PM by ChangeMan
Some thoughts for consideration and discussion.

A lot of what we on DU have been reading lately does indeed seem to indicate that the "powers" behind the Resident are beginning to feel (and may well have already decided) that * is a liability and that things can't go on the way things are for too much longer.

I, for one, would love to see Chimpy have to pull a moving van up to the back door of the WH. That said let me pose this question:

If not Bush, then WHO?

We all have been girding ourselves for the upcoming campaign against Chimpy. If Chimpy goes then we have been preparing to fight the wrong guy. Sure, if it happens now then the VP will replace him. But something tells me that "Dirty Dick" won't be the one who gets the Repuke nomination, and whoever does won't be the pea brain that we were expecting to fight.

So, if Chimpy goes, WHEN will he go? What will it take to "get him gone", and worst of all...Will there be another "attack" on America to try a save his dirty butt? Will they suddenly "capture" OBL or SH to show that * was on top of things all along? Will we suddenly need to "liberate" another oppressed country in order to showcase our "comander-in-chief"?

Just having Chimpy out of the Oval Office does not clean up the mess on the bottom of the cage. And it sure does not insure that 'business as usual" won't continue.

DU lets have some discussion on this! What could we be facing?

you had better believe Cheney will go down too

That leaves DENNIS HASTERT as the next in line as the Speaker of the House
