1. We need Ohio or Florida
And I've seen many polls suggesting Kerry leads both. I also don't buy Pennsylvania and New Mexico being toss-up states. Both should be for Kerry.

Upon further inspection, most of the state polls haven't been updated since early July, right after Reagan's death. I bet the lead is a lot more than he indicates.

2. So Much for "No Convention Bounce"
and so much for the convention being boring. I actually expected to be bored, but I'm fascinated by the lineup of speakers and how the party is presenting itself.

Sometimes it just takes a critical mass of people on the same side saying similar things from different points of view. This convention is defining the Democratic Party in a way that's very inspiring to me. And I hope to a lot of undecideds.

Given the abysmal state of the media, this is the best chance for the party as a whole to redefine itself. And it's taking full advantage of the opportunity.

4. They like to keep the people uninformed
It's all about the ratings.
