It's so messed up, the way we factor death...
No one thinks of death as a human experience. We say "Holy crow, 900 dead in Iraq!" But we don't know the true PHYSICAL pain of death. We go through the tallies as if the bodies and souls were meaningless. Imagine, NOW, you're 23, two months ago you were drinking beers and sitting on your friends back porch in Maine. Next all of a sudden, you're soldier boy.
Fucked up. Seriously, sit back and imagine.

1. What's even worse
Is the fact that those young men and women who are fighting for the US military and Green Cards aren't even in the body count.

Not American? In our uniform - who cares? Public don't need to know.

Move along...
