1. that's why Ohio is a swing state, and Kentucky is red all the way
no surprise you don't see much support for JK there. can you move to OH for a few months and vote there? That would help....

2. The area you live in is very deceptive, I would call it more rural...
Except for the downtown areas which of course are very urban. I assure you that living in Columbus (and being on the road everyday) we are not alone in our support for Kerry in Ohio. I frequently have people get behind me and I see them giving me a "thumbs up" for all my Kerry/democrat stickers. I encourage you to ignore the sheep and try your best to convince the unconvinced.

4. Hi blueknight - I live down by Richmond
I think KY could go blue. Have you contacted Clooney to see how you might help him? Dr. Dan is doing OK on his Senate run, and I think Chandler wil win again. KY has over 500,000 people without healthcare, so I hope Kerry at least visits Louisville and Lexington a few times. If I had transportation, I think I'd be organizing visits to "coal country" in Appalacian KY.

Kentucky went for Clinton twice so since Kerry chose Edwards I hope he won't write us off!

6. hi mandy,
i have been helping clooney here in northern ky. nick has an advantage that most political newcomers dont, he was a television newsman in northern ky, cincinnati ohio, for at least ten years, and was always very well liked.but having said that, it still is going to be a uphill fight to get him elected.

10. Same here in San Antonio, atleast in my part of town
Not many stickers at all. Again a few for Kerry and about as many for bush*. In 2000, this town was lousy with bush*/cheney stickers.

11. Just one Kerry sticker isn't enough.
Do as I do, and put on ones that say things like: No More Bushit, or War and Greed are not Christian.

Trust me, if your bumper stickers are inflammatory enough, people will not mess with you.

I'm in Overland Park, Kansas, and I see Bush/Cheney stickers pretty often, although some of them are the Bush/Cheney 1984 ones, so you have to look closely to be sure what you're seeing. Around here the conservative religious right is very strong. Our primary is this coming Tuesday, and it will be quite interesting to see what happens, since all of the moderate Republicans are facing conservative challengers in their primaries. The Democrats are mostly unopposed. And that's in various offices, although the State House and Senate races are the ones I'm mainly referring to.

12. I live in PA
Southeastern PA -- and I've been seeing a lot of Kerry stickers lately. Very few B/C bumperstickers.

I live in a kind of affluent, republican community -- and so I'm surprised.

(Just ordered my Kerry/Edwards lawn sign, DEM vinyl window sticker, and Kerry 2004 pin. I'm tired of being quiet about my DEM status!)

13. I have actually seen several Kerry stickers here in Richmond, VA,
which is very surprising since this place is Right Wing Central, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe there is hope for VA, but I bet Bush wins in a squeaker here.
