"Results Matter"
As I stumbled into the kitchen to make coffee this morning I flipped on CNN and heard some no-name Bush campaign staffer repeating the phrase about 4 times in 30 seconds.
He mentioned how the DNC went off without a hitch and how the RNC would be well protected also. This was THE sound-bite from yesterday's Bush campaign coverage.

So all the fuss recently about the the Mexican border and the "new" terra alerts in NYC... I'm convinced it's all bullshit.

1. It's a dumbass slogan.
Really! 'Results matter'? WTF is that supposed to mean? This is a country, not a bottom-line obsessed corporation. Anyway, we've only seen negative results from Bush's policies. I don't get it. Are they really this stupid? Can someone explain this to me, 'cause I'm just not getting it?

3. And they just released the numbers on the largest deficit in US history
did they not?

The same day they unveil their new slogan, "results matter" - they announce the deficit numbers.

I don't know her name, but the Kerry woman who was on opposite terry holt pointed out the, uh, irony.

4. Didn't you hear
about the deficit? Actually in the Pres Radio Address, he assured us that the fiscal status of our country is better than predicted...we will post a budget that is $100 million less for 2004/2005 leading us to 1/2 the deficit within 5 years.

See...results do matter! :spank:

Yikes...I can barely repeat *'s lies in sarcasm.
