I think the RNC should be cancelled.
That way I won't be tempted to watch any of the coverage! :-) But seriously, if NYC is under threat of imminent attack, how can they possibly hold it there?

It would show pretty clearly how much safer we really are. BTW, I love Kerry's comment that the last pres to talk of "turning the corner" was Herbert Hoover!

5. Bush has painted himself into a corner.....
...he has asserted that "America is safer"....so now he can't run and hide because of terrorist threats. He has to "stay the course".

7. If that happens
via bloodshed then the blood will land on Bush's hands. If it is by terrorist attack, then it will be Bush's fault for failing to protect the country. If it is a la Tienemen Square then Bush will be doomed to defeat and indictement.
