who's a bigger TOOL than potato face?
why do I do it?

I watched that fatprick sit there and allow Zell Miller make the most outrageous charges against the dems, without one word oozing out of his piepit.

just now, when Biden tried, weakly, of course, to defend Kerry's vote on the 87 billion (without mentioning, of course, that Bush threatened to VETO his own bill), he threw back quote after quote after quote to Biden about this, pursuing the subject like the rabid little chihuahua he is.

he's STILL going after him now, as I type.

BIDEN, wake UP! don't let him keep you on the defensive!

reject his PREMISES, just like the pugs do, and DONT answer his questions the way they're framed. turn them around and ATTACK the pugs, just like THEY do!

when are the dems going to wise up to this obvious tack?

1. saw how he went after him a bit on other thread, BUT
Edited on Sun Aug-01-04 10:47 AM by buycitgo
the part I saw, he allowed Miller to spew repuke talking points untouched, whereas, he just dogged Biden's ass with pre-prepared quote after quote, and, again, just would NOT let the IWR or the 87 billion go

and did you see who his panel is:

Ron Brownstein, Gwen Ifill, and John Harwood

nice balance, eh?

2. he just characterized Kerry's now 7 point lead as a SMALL lead
gee, if he wins by seven, that's on the verge of a fricking LANDSLIDE, and will be an electoral landslide

Reagan only won by EIGHT against Carter, and Anderson got SEVEN percent

he's also outside the margin of error

and Harwood said it's TOO EARLY to measure the bounce yet

so, way to go, Tim

Brownstein is also talking about the polls going against Bush, using internals to put the lie to Russert's downplaying of its significance

3. Ya know
Zell looked awfully manic...and at one point I thought the interviewer was going to laugh at him.

We need to keep all the media folks inundated with our scorn and educate them constantly on what the truth is, for obviously they ain't got a clue!

4. Ifill talking about Kerry's "apparent inconsistencies"
well, what ARE they, you PBS shill?

huh?

Harwood, at least, mentioned the point the dems have been very weak on, which is that Bush's Iraq position has become VERY MUCH CLOSER to Kerry's, which he elucidated a long time ago

how come they aren't harping on that?

5. Harwood: turning the corner isn't enough
he HAS to figure out how to make significant changes

the one he mentions is CHANGING SOCIAL SECURITY!!!!!

says they may pull the trigger on that

if he's right, that's BY FAR the biggest news out of this campaign so far

wonder if any reporters will DARE put the question to either Bush or the crashcart
