Newt. Will he work for or against us?

Newt seems to be popping up all over; not a kinder, gentler Newt but the same asshat we all know and dislike. My question is this: since Newt was the most hated man in America (not my words, but good words) when he fell from grace, what effect is he having now? What is the stronger pull, Newt energizing the repub base, or Newt alienating most of the nation?

Newt isn't going to do much for them, since he's nothing but a liar and a hypocrite. Plus, a lot of people are probably in the part of Clinton's book where he talks about Newt in congress!

so as long as there are assholes, he is part of the American fabric

trying to find ways to enrich themselves and screw us sheep at the same time.

9. When he shut the government down,

then belly ached about not being asked to ride on the plane to someone's (I forget who) funeral with Big Dog. There was a backlash that helped us mightily.
