MDMC started the thread and I've been throwing the idea around with him/her.....

CONCERT FOR DEMOCRACY - TAKE BACK AMERICA
starting in Philadelphia with a March to Quaker/Amish country and have it be a "Woodstock" of sorts....

Seriously, I have not heard any ideas like this, but its brilliant (and not because we started it) but because of the energy it could bring to energizing the youth and countering the sh*t the Repukes and Bu$h and Rove and Ridge are going to try and throw our way in the next month....

I mean, really who wants to go to NYC....and if there is a terrorism attack there, this would be the way to go and be "safe"...

1. I like the window treatment idea

of putting the slash W sign in every window. Why? Because it can be done everywhere, and will make a visual statement. And if they do ban protests in NYC, we can still protest, not just there but across the nation!

2. AWESOME! People all over the country (and in particular NYC) can do

this....

Kinda like the slash on the door in the New Movie "The Village" only difference is have it through a "W" (hate to be sponsoring/supporting a Disney distributed movie) but WOW that would be AWESOME!
