10. Dean said Bush admitted political angle - but that he (Dean) is sure
Bush also believes there is a threat.

Joe L is trying too hard to be Bush's good buddy.

4. Lieberman said anyone would be crazy...
Edited on Sun Aug-01-04 01:44 PM by Flubadubya
to think that the President would raise a terror alert just for political purposes. Interesting thing about this is the fact that he said it (on Blitzer's show) JUST BEFORE they announced that the level had indeed been raised. How bizarre, n'est-ce pas?

Lieberman makes me :puke:

17. Let's see ...
Today is Sunday, August 1st, 2004. I am in the state of Florida. I neither see nor hear things when no one is here. My speech is clear and coherent. I am oriented to time, place and person. I am not addicted to drugs or alcohol. I think I pass my own mental status examination, now, dear SENATOR LIEBERMAN, can you answer these questions?

Is Poppy Bush behind the reports of any planned terror attacks on New York this time? Is he wanting to make sure that boy of his keeps his second installation to the white house? Is the Bush Boy himself fanning said reports because he likes his toy and wants to keep it?
Or is it his crazed administration conjointly with those politicians for whom there is a secondary gain if Bush should get to keep his four more years, tie up our civil liberties and throw them out the gang plank while installing not only himself for four more years but himself as our first United States dictator?

I have no doubts about my own sanity. Are you sure you are up to your own no secondary gains reality test?

:bounce:

He sounds like a fool and has no credibility. Does he think he is a star of the "moderate" wing or something? He is just a fool.

8. Notice he was badly "dissed' at the convention....
I thought Lieberman's speech was one of the low points of the convention....very luke warm reception, hardly any applause - even the PBS announcers failed to even comment on it....what keeps him in the Democrat party, anyway - very odd....

15. What Was Really Pathetic Was the Contrast
People like Obama, Edwards, Kerry, Clark, and Clinton had to speak over some applause (Obama in particular) for timeliness.

Lieberman kept pausing for applause that he thought would be forthcoming but wasn't. I especially liked the part where he tried to co-op the audience interaction that Edwards had when he did his "Hope... is... on... the... way!" thing, expecting the audience to say it with him, and most of them just sat there like, "Whatever, Joementum."

My friend too is a DUer and he called to discuss this "NEW and IMPROVED" BULLSHIT Threat. He and I both agree that Joe Lieberman is a sell out to the democratic party and we are truly upset that he was allowed to speak at the DNC.

Once again "FUCK JOE LIEBERMAN"!

he just KEEP IT TO HIMSELF and STFU? Unless he is in fact trying to whore for shrubco? I mean Zell is a (slightly) different story since he has already declared himself in their camp.

24. I just had a thought
Joe Lieberman is such a freaking DINO low life that say the Senate ties after this election - I can very easily see this freak changing parties. although I haven't looked into the numbers and how the Senate might turn out after this election but it just occurred to me I'm forever wanting him to change parties but I don't want his changing parties to mess up us having the majority.
