Threat levels make the USA look foolish to the world.

If there is a threat, track those down who are responsible and eliminate the threat. Announce victory over the "threat" once the threat is neutralized. To announce vague threats, even when supposedly against specific targets is foolish at the very least, and foolhardy if one is trying to track and eliminate terrorists.

I'm sure "Terrorist Bob" and his friends are so pissed right now that the Dept of Fascist Security has seen through their devious plans. After all, I'm sure it took a hell of a lot of planning to decide to ram a bomb-laden truck into a specific building.

Rather, if true, don't you think Terrorist Bob and friends are now saying, well, fuck'em, there are other buildings.

This is disgustingly and transparently a lie. A lie piled on many other lies.
