7. LOL
Probably got a memo from the Department of Transportation saying that there was a lot of chatter on tourist websites indicating increased activity in NYC and DC in the month of August.

10. I know. I thought they were just a bit insane.
Now, if you see someone in Newark taking shots of the Prudential building......I would reasonably have some qualms.

16. Sounds like they already have all the pictures they need.
And the routine of the security guards, and the kind of weapons they carry, and ... you get the idea.

Maybe it was last night, on CNN's website... The article there is different now, and I don't know how to get the old one.

20. Fear I tell you...govern with fear....
I will be immensely saddened if there is another terrorist attack on the United States. But after almost 3 full years of relative quiet I am so suspicious of this administrations motives and actions. Whenever there is something positive happening, in this case the Dem's convention and Kerry's campaign, they bring out the "terra" alerts.

Thinking about it, how stupid for them to schedule their convention in NYC. Surely they could have gone to a less prominent city like Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix etc. Not to say these cities are any less esteemed in their own right, but are not in the "iconic" city category like NYC which makes it such a highly valued target.

21. There goes tourism in D.C.
Look for the economic down turn as tourist stay home all over america and sell your stock in all video and camera operations. No one will be able to use them in the near future.

23. OMG, he took a picture of a bridge from 300 feet away, using a camera...
whose lens is clearly incapable of doing such a close-up zoom!

Obviously that person is an evil terrorist! :eyes:

Sheesh, I gave my 68 year old aunt some prints of my photowork last Christmas. The feds delayed her luggage for 3 WEEKS, trying to determine if 5 pics of a bridge from a far distance showing no surrounding area and 7 forms of wildlife are a threat. :eyes: x(

This is beyond ridiculous.

For this Xmas I'll be giving her some kewl b/w prints. I'm sure an infrared of an azalea will prove to compromise national security for decades to come. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
