Could Bush be the Perfect Manchurian Candidate?
I just came back from the "Manchurian Candidate" movie, and I don't think Bush was brainwashed or had a tiny brain implant in him. However, I do think that his fundamentalism and lack of curiousity about the world enables him to be the perfect Manchurian Candidate, to be controlled by those around him, and by the corporations. What do you guys think?

1. I saw the original and I have
always thought that bush was as robot. Not feelings what so ever. That is why he wears an ear piece.

2. He's dumb enough to be content playing the puppet...
Obviously, Cheney, Wolfie et all make the decisions. And * doesn't have a brain to wash.

* enjoys dressing up in funny clothes and playing the front man.

So, yes, slink, he's an excellent Manchurian Candidate.

5. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too...
Bush was groomed his entire life to be President.

7. Reagan was the prototype, Bush is the second version.
But he's far less effective. He's actually *too* stupid. It shows.

I think Quayle was going to be version 2, but he was a laughingstock before he ever had the chance to run.

8. Bush is very proud that chip implanting unnecessary for him -
his beautiful mind was trained from birth to be the natural manchurian candidate.
I can understand how Meryl Streep got her motivation from Babs, but Angela Lansbury must've been prescient!
