So how do they stop them from running a truck bomb into a building?
And not shut down the city?

2. A truck would plow through those. And this is New York.

6. I've driven through downtown Manhattan and, your right, OK City..
size truck bombs would absolutely wreak terrible havoc. There are many, many skyscrapers that are within, what, 20 feet of the street.

3. Just lock down lower Manhattan
We did it in 2001 for quite some time.

And the streets around the stock market, etc., are already under control. It might be possible to get a truck into lower Manhattan and kill a lot of people but the heart of capitalism is pretty much safe from something like that.

Do you think the cops are going to hesitate ONE SECOND from investigating any truck that seems suspicious?

Me, I'd be more concerned about the tunnels and bridges. They seem to be a lot more "soft" than buildings in downtown.

Tie up traffic in Manhattan? As compared to what?
