Republican=Taxes. Always have..always will.
It's the first thing out of their greedy mouths. Taxes, tax, taxation, taxed, tax dollars, taxing...on and on. With all of the current issues and problems you will still hear their signature mantra "tax" over and over in a discussion. It's all I hear from Rethugs around me. "My taxes are too high". But what about Iraq, health care, the environment and jobs? "Yeah sure but my taxes are too high". It's still about personal wealth and greed. You won't ever see a Rethug politico on TV not mentioning taxes. It's playing the tax card and it works every time.

1. Unfortunately, greed knows no political affiliation.
There are plenty of rich, greedy Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and non-party affiliated people out there. Greed is a human condition that sets in long before political party affiliation does.

2. Fortunately it's not the first obsessed thing out of a
Democrat's mouth. To some extent greed is a shared event. However, Dems seem less consumed by the fact that their taxes are being used to assist the less fortunate. That's where the major parties split fundamentally.

4. True.
Democrats are more likely to want to use their tax money to help those who are not as fortunate as we are.

3. See, all you have to do

is cut tax rates to, oh, say, 0.01 percent. That will stimulate
SOOO much growth that the coffers of the federal government will
just overflow as 100,000,000 US taxpayers each pay $1000
on their $1,000,000 of income every year... oh wait, that's only
$100 B, less than 10% of the budget, well now, maybe we should
pay only 0.005 percent and the economy will grow so fast that every
US taxpayer now makes $10,000,000 per year... yeah that's it.

See, supply side economics really work!

(ok sarcasm off now)
