Regarding the upcoming presidential debates.

Who will be running the various presidential debates? And, how can we be sure that someone will not give Karl Rove a copy of the questions to be asked during the debates?

One scenario I worry about is that the media people who write the questions for the debates will have to have those questions approved by their bosses, and their bosses, who are mostly malignant Republicans, will pass the questions to Karl Rove in advance of the debates.

I think that's common practice. Unfortunately.

I actually thought I read somewhere that this was one of the conditions of the debates that Bush's people demanded. Really.

I don't have a source, just sort of remember reading it somewhere. And I dont' think it was in jest.
