Shouldn't we have found any WMDs in Iraq by now?
I mean, any sort of military production takes logistics and infrastructure. Maybe labs were somehow hidden, but since we took Iraq, wouldn't we have control in Saddam's palaces and offices and bases? If there were WMDs, wouldn't there be some paper trail? A phone number, a set of coordinates, even a memo of some sort? I mean, if there isn't any information on WMDs in Hussein's own damn offices... where would they be? Wouldn't hiding something THAT deep, that if all of your infrastructure was captures or destroyed, there STILL wouldn't be any evidence of it... well, be counter-intuitive?

4. Heh. Why isn't there any infrastructure evidence, though?
I mean.. there should be a MEMO or something! You'd think some scientist would have at least emailed Saddam with, "Yo, where do you want this anthrax?" Would hiding WMDs that deep just to decieve and spite us, in such a way that it would be almost impossible to get to them yourself even be worth it?

5. We did find them.
Didn't you know that? We found several chemical weapons, and one of them was used in a terrorist attack inside Iraq. Haven't you been paying attention?

9. Sure.
The fact that later tests showed that they weren't really chemical weapons is just proof of how tricky that Saddam really was.

8. Aww, c'mon! WMD are old news.
We invaded Iraq because: (pick one)

1. Saddam posed a real threat to the vital interests of the United States of Amurka. (Vital Interests = Oil company profits)

2. We sought to liberate the downtrodden Iraqi people. (Please ignore the fact that 80% of the now "liberated" Iraqi people want us to get out of their country).

3. We wanted to rid them of the brutal tyranny of Saddam. (By entertaining Iraqis in resorts such as Abu-Ghraib and putting on fireworks displays at wedding parties.)

4. We wanted to destroy al-Queyda. (Well...we're working on it. Pay no attention to the "Orange Alerts" that hint that Al-Queyda seems to be thriving due to our "heroic efforts").

5. Weapons of Mass Destruction were found. (It is reported that a GI found a can of "Raid" in a secret vault in one of Saddam's palaces)

6. It's a secret why we went to war, but you are too stupid to understand it.

11. Actually, he destroyed it.
As per the UN resolution. In fact, they showed weapons inspectors where they had destroyed it, and the weapons inspectors said that it looked like it had all been accounted for.

We killed a bunch of people anyway.

12. We did

  • some ten-year-old shell casings
  • some aluminum tubes
  • an ice cream truck
  • some forged documents

I'd be closer to building a weapon with stuff around my house than their state of the art.
