On Wednesday, my town is the center of the political universe!

I live in Davenport, IA, and on Wednesday both shrub and Kerry will be here in town. bush's rally is in LeClaire Park at about 10:40 AM, and Kerry's public meeting is 9:00 PM at the Radisson, in Downtown Davenport. Kerry will meet earlier in the day with business leaders in our community, including a guy named Bush, whom I work for. The bush rally may be hard to protest, as the park is right on the Mississippi River and there are RR tracks on the north side. East is the casino and parking and west is the ballpark and a large empty, which is not visible from LeClaire Park. But I may try anyway. Anyone in Iowa or Illinois want to join me? And one more thing, I kinda hope it rains because the bush thing is outside.

2. It rained in Greensburg, PA on Saturday. There were several thousand

Kerry supporters on hand for the campaign stop. A little rain didn't slow Kerry down.

Good luck at both events. I hope you don't get arrested for having a dissenting view at the bush rally.

5. Trains go by there frequently

at least once an hour, sometimes more. But in the interest of national security(and complete bullshit) I wonder if they will tell commerce to stop for a while, at least until he's done. Can't have those noisy trains going by when bush is attempting to be coherent.

pick a place downtown where you will have high visibility and hold your rally there. Invite the press and complain that you have been shut out by the bushies. And one more thing - please, Mama Nature, rain on the Bushes.

Can you and some friends rent or borrow a boat, there could be lots of ways to make mischief, start with a big Bush banner then when you get close add "lies". Not that I'm advocating getting arrested.
