Poll question: Well, we saw how eager some Democrats are to repeat Republican spin
Do you respect people who eagerly spread Republican propaganda, or not?

29. Your post is essentially dishonest.
Edited on Mon Aug-02-04 02:11 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
When I say that the words I am using are actually what I mean, and you reply with a transparent attempt to put words in my mouth, the underlying bankruptcy of your position is revealed. But, thanks for the kick, anyway.

19. I think you may be right.
They try it out here first, because if it will fool the more gullible among DUers, it has a good chance of tricking people who aren't paying as close attention.

10. I respect people who make statements that are supported by data, etc.
to the best of their ability. Assuming that someone has the smarts to begin with, I hold them completely completely accountable for what they say. Willful ignorance does not fly with me.

Furthermore, people seriously need to start looking beyond the popular media for information. Usually the people here at DU are incredibly good at that, but every once-in-a-while.....

17. well, but we have to cut a little slack
there are some people who don't have the resources or time to be spectacularly informed, and sometimes it isn't what you know that gets you in trouble, but what you don't know.

Let's give our fellow DU'ers, even the ones with dainty size 13's inserted carefully into their mouths, some props for being passionate and giving a damn. We're all in this together, and if we can't point out "inconsistencies" to our own people without tearing them down then we're not much better than the assholes we're fighting against.

21. Actually he is referring to me saying that Kerry's voting record is
the worst in the senate. The facts hand Feanorcurufinwe have never met.

Take a good long look.

And the next time you try this shit, you better be prepared.

34. Here are thousands of Ohioans who were ready to learn the truth.

And truth is what they heard. Will you?

Bush's defeat is all but certain. The biggest question now, is how big Kerry's coattails and how big of a gain we can make in the House.

27. Yes, that would be Republican spin
Because anybody who paid attention to what happened when Kerry went back to DC to vote recently, knows this voting record is Republican spin. The Republicans didn't bring the measure to the floor. If Kerry sat around in D.C. playing Republican voting games, he'd never be able to campaign at all. So maybe YOU can explain to us why you'd rather Kerry gazed at his naval in D.C. than be out talking to the people who we need to vote for him.

22. And how about telling us (especially me) what spin you are referring?
The "spin" about Kerry having a very bad voting record?

Thats not spin, its backed up by facts. My point, my ONLY point in saying it is that the pugs are going to use it against him and its the only real ammunition they have. People *will* question why his record is so sparse.
