The terror warning worked.
All the daily newspapers in NY had big headlines about the new terror warning. After a great convention and appearances on all the Sunday talk shows, Kerry was pushed off the front page. A HMS announcement once a week should keep any coverage of Kerry from the people. I'm depressed:-{

1. Well, it's not a surprise-
we've been saying that here for months: every time SMIRK'S numbers go down, there'll be a NEW "terrist" warning! It's called "playing with people's heads", and in THIS country of sheeple, that's EASY!

:wtf:  :puke:

4. Who thinks Bush is not bright? Who ever runs him is smart.
All Presidents do that. Most did not have the terror thing to play with and that is getting old fast.

3. don't be depressed----Do something----register voters
volunteer at your local Kerry office or Democratic Party Office, check the web
johnkerry.com or
meetup.com
if you don't have a local office.
Volunteer to walk a precinct,
organize a party or fundraiser.

This is not the time to give up- that's what the repukes want us to do.

Bush does an alert when he's down in the polls-
don't forget -
we're safer now aren't we?

I saw (our next) President Kerry last night!
Do what you can to help him win.

5. I just gave two voter reg forms to someone
We at at the local Quiznos all the time. Last time I was in there we had a discussion. He was one of the I never vote types. I told him that he must be really satisfied with the way the country is going, etc.

Well, I brought him a couple of voter registration forms as I was getting lunch today. He said thanks, and he needed the extra one for his sister-in-law. I asked him if I needed to convince him to vote for Kerry - he said nope.

YES!!! (Tooting my own horn, and patting myself on the back)

This is really all it takes. Just a little personal prodding and the 50% of folks that don't vote become voters.

6. Good for you! Let's hope those folks actually register & vote.

If you are registering someone you know, it doesn't hurt to keep in touch, "Did you send the form in? Want to go down to registrar of voters to see a sample ballot/voting machine?"
Need a ride to the polls?
Someone to watch the kids?
