At Grand Central today there was NOT a big security presence. I have seen that place crawling with National Guard and police carrying big rifles and it was NOT like that today. As I was leaving work they had blocked off the Park Avenue approach to GCT and were redirecting traffic, but that was it. And they were letting the taxis through! So, I think NYPD thinks it's bogus.
