SNIP..."And one of the things about this warning,
which is different than the previous many, many, many that the Bush
administration has given us is they've given us specific cities and specific targets.
The usual pattern of the Bush administration is just come out and tell
everybody, "We have chatter, we have chatter, watch out, watch out," and
that is totally unhelpful. This at least confines it to a geographic area,
and I think that's an improvement.

1. This should have been saved for Aug 6, of course
as a 3-year birthday celebration for the memo which warned, albeit "historically," "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside US."

4. That reminds me, where was Condi Rice at this mornings....
...Bush speech on the intelligence Czar? The assembled group was conspicuous by it's being ALL MALE. I also don't remember Dick Cheney being there, but I could have missed that.

6. I wonder about her all the time
I mean...what is this new position they are creating? Shouldn't the job really be hers? Just what is her job?

2. It tells me that in can still happen anywhere except at these...
...financial centers in NYC, New Jersey and Washington DC.

3. But it's confined to an area because everyone is running out of money
I think bushco finally got it through their head that all these vague terra alerts were causing a financial drain on cities.

This administration is chasing its tail in a very serious way. georgie-poo sent Pickles to New York to demonstrate how competent the anti-terror forces are. Or, truth be told, to demonstrate the total impotence of the threat to begin with.

5. I just wanted to get the quote out there. It is being ignored.
While we are all being careful.
