The statue of liberty will be open for tours starting Tuesday, August 3rd at 1:45 p.m.

You can make a reservation to visit the Statue of Liberty by calling 1-866-STATUE-4, or you can log onto www.statuereservations.com to make reservations online. However, this feature will not be active for another 10 days.

This above information is to obtain a reservation for the museum tour only.

You need a second reservation if you want to go to top of the pedestal to look through a glass ceiling at the inside of Lady Liberty.

All you can do is go up inside the pedestal and look at Liberty through a glass ceiling.
