Just keep thinking, "It's just a movie."

The analogy breaks down at the incestuous relationship between Meryl Streep and the candidate. The thought of such a Bush/Cheney relationship would make Hannibal Lector puke.

1. I Thought It Was Pretty Good....

Did you catch the "newsreport" in the background that the army was contracting out for a privatized army to "save taxpayer's money" and the blurb about the electronic voting machines and the 70% vote for the winners.

Only thing, I've been thinking, it really isn't necessary to plant any chips to accomplish what the corporate masters want, just pay off the right people and make it worth their while monetarily to do their bidding. They have no moral compunctions against anything, as far as I can tell.

2. Yep. Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, are doing the job for Manchurian Global

I think I caught most of the allusions in the movie to today's reality, but the damn thing is, I don't know how much difference it will make.

But two great moments are Meryl Steep chewing on ice cubes and her question, "Are there no more men?"

given the hairdo and the outfits she wears, she's a dead ringer for Hillary.

I don't think it was intentional on her part. It's just the way she looks.
